The Light Of Mediterranean Design
 
Picture the afternoon light streaming through the windows, the warm glow of the sun reflecting off the sea, and the dance of shadows against the walls. From the ‘blue hour’ to golden hues, light transforms mood, atmosphere, and energy. This light, so unique to the Mediterranean is embedded in our culture and shines through in our design and architecture.


 

Roca presented its newest products with a focus on sustainability, state-of-the art technology, and personal wellbeing. Engaging designs embraced new colours, shapes and innovative features adding improved comfort, hygiene, and connectivity.
 
On view, the latest bathroom collections designed in collaboration with international designers, smart bathroom products and universal design solutions.

 


 

Roca collaborated with Barcelona-based architecture and design practice, Mesura, to create an immersive stand that invites visitors to gather and engage with Roca’s new products. The installation revolved around a central square reminiscent of the plaça, a symbol of community and social interaction and its design is meant to welcome conversation and interaction with the novelties.
 
Surrounding the stand there were traditional shutters adding a feeling of intimacy and connection amidst the large fair. Soft light, the play of shadows, subtle tones and natural materials created a calm and harmonious experience that encouraged people to stay a while.


 

Mesura is a Barcelona-based architecture and design practice established in 2010 by five partners. Their relentless curiosity and passion for experimentation drive their design process, as they constantly seek alternatives and challenge established norms. Each project reflects the individuality of their clients and embodies their personalities and values.
